MACBETH DISCUSSION
SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP (THEATER FOCUS)
Saturday, October 31, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Learning Center
Join other lovers of theater as you study and use knowledge of Shakespeare's language choice and
embedded stage directions to put on a group performance of a scene from Macbeth. Dress in your favorite costume - Shakespearean or other creative ensemble!
Ages 11 & up, Pre-registration required
Cost: $35 per person, please bring a brown bag lunch and water bottle
Celi Oliveto holds an MLitt/MFA from Mary Baldwin College and graduated from Fairmont State
University with a double major in secondary education and French. During her MFA year, Celi
served as the education director for Rogue Shakespeare and played the role of Lady Macbeth in
its touring education production. Currently, she works as an English/French and co-theatre teacher
at North Marion High School. She moonlights as the troupe director of the Rustic Mechanicals,
West Virginia’s only professional Shakespeare touring troupe under the umbrella of Bridgeport’s
The Vintage Theatre Company LLC.

Vintage Theatre Company along with Learning Options, Inc, proudly present a very
special performance of Macbeth, given by The Rustic Mechanicals, featuring
Celi Oliveto as Lady Macbeth.
Cost: $10 per person, General Admission
Tickets must be purchased in advance
Seating is extremely limited.


Actors will be hosting a talkback after the show (geared toward students).

Please join us for a discussion of Shakespeare's well-known tragedy, MACBETH

Thursday, October 8, at 4:00 pm at the Learning Center
All ages are welcome, provided you have recently read (or co-read or viewed or listened to) the play. The moderator will provide a brief introduction, but this discussion will be fed by your comments and questions, leading participants to a deeper understanding of
one of Shakespeare's most famous works.
Moderators: Mary Ellen Sullivan & Cricket Hall
This event is free and open to the public.
